It started with the geopolitical crisis. A very successful point was the decision of Finnish company Nokian to relocate from Russia to Romania. They are preparing a large investment in Oradea. Romania was chosen from a list of 8 countries and 40 sites were visited by the company representatives. We are expecting to see more big companies coming to Romania in 2023,\u201d <strong><em>Alexandru Mitroi, Senior Advisor, Invest Romania said during Romanian Automotive Forum 2022 organized by Automotive Today and The Diplomat-Bucharest.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAccording to data from the National Bank of Romania, the volume of foreign direct investments in Romania reached 9 billion Euro in 2021. Most of this volume is represented by investments of existing companies in Romania, close to 90 percent and the rest is new investment.
