ACAROM held its annual general meeting today, in Timisoara, and has elected its new board of directors for the next three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new ACAROM Board of Directors aims to develop the dialogue between the members of the association and the authorities, but also to continue to promote and support the automotive industry in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We must work together and be prepared for the current and future transformations of the automotive sector. Only through a constant, open and efficient collaboration can we ensure that the automotive industry in Romania will have the success we want. In this way, we welcome the collaboration we have with the representatives of the national authorities and we want to expand it so that we have a predictable, balanced, sustainable development environment, said Mihai Bordeanu, President of ACAROM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the 170 member companies are the two local car manufacturers, Dacia and Ford Otosan Romania, the local branches of some of the most important international companies that produce car assemblies or components, suppliers with Romanian capital, local car service providers, entities of research and development, technical universities.
