Continental inaugurated a new testing laboratory in Timi\u0219oara. The new laboratory, designed from the ground up, is one of the largest in ContiTech’s European network and contains testing spaces, new offices and facilities for employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This new test lab is a significant achievement for our team and the entire ContiTech community. We aim to continue to develop and innovate, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry and successfully meet the requirements and specifications of our customers around the world “, said Marius Todoran, Head of Project Management of the Segment Thermal Solutions department, within ContiTech Timi\u0219oara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a usable area of \u200b\u200bmore than 800 square meters and the necessary utilities, the new test center will house 23 engineers and technicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the tests that will be carried out here are thermal and mechanical tests, computerized tomography, precision metallographic microscopy and macroscopy, pressure impulse tests as well as vibration tests and technical verification of product cleanliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
