{"id":16789,"date":"2025-12-02T13:17:38","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T11:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.automotive-today.ro\/?p=16789"},"modified":"2025-12-04T10:37:32","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T08:37:32","slug":"car-registrations-in-romania-up-35-6-in-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.automotive-today.ro\/index.php\/2025\/12\/02\/car-registrations-in-romania-up-35-6-in-november\/","title":{"rendered":"Car registrations in Romania up 35.6% in November"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>New car registrations in Romania increased in November 2025 by <strong>35.61%<\/strong> compared to November 2024, reaching a volume of <strong>13,882 units<\/strong>, according to data from ACAROM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first 11 months of 2025, the volume of newly registered cars reached <strong>135,491 units<\/strong>, a decrease of <strong>1.3%<\/strong> compared to the same period in 2024, when 137,298 units were registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Breakdown by category:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Electric vehicles:<\/strong> 7,495 units, down <strong>11.1%<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Hybrid vehicles:<\/strong> 66,512 units, up <strong>25.6%<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>LPG vehicles:<\/strong> 18,614 units, up <strong>30.9%<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Petrol vehicles:<\/strong> 31,266 units, down <strong>29.9%<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Diesel vehicles:<\/strong> 11,603 units, down <strong>30%<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As for used cars registered for the first time in Romania, their volume reached <strong>31,959 units<\/strong> in November 2025, an increase of <strong>11.43%<\/strong> compared to November 2024.
