We aim to create a hub of mobility innovation where integrated solutions for tomorrow\u2019s vehicles are developed: high\u2011performance, safe, and ready to meet the demands of the global automotive industry,\u201d said Ion Petic, CEO of Piaxo. \u201cTimisoara offers the ideal environment for sustainable innovation, with its strong talent pool and proximity to leading universities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The center is part of Piaxo\u2019s commitment to sourcing the best engineering talent from Timisoara and fostering innovation in collaboration with global partners, and Piaxo is hiring exclusively in Timi\u0219oara to strengthen and invest in the local engineering talent ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a strategic partner, Clarios brings its global expertise in battery development and manufacturing. With approximately 18,000 employees in over 100 countries and annual production of more than 150 million batteries powering one in three vehicles worldwide, Clarios underscores its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Clarios, we are dedicated to driving the development of sustainable mobility solutions in collaboration with Piaxo,\u201d said Alexander van Laack, Chief Technology Officer at Clarios. \u201cThe new center in Timisoara strengthens our development activities in Europe and enables innovative solutions for the vehicles of tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The center will support R&amp;D projects in areas such as battery management systems (BMS), sodium-ion and lithium-ion storage solutions, as well as inverter and supercapacitor technologies essential for modern vehicles and safety-critical functions.
