Business performance in the second quarter of 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the second quarter of 2026, AUMOVIO generated adjusted consolidated sales of \u20ac4.2 billion (Q2 2025: \u20ac4.7 billion). The adjusted EBIT amounted to \u20ac50 million (Q2 2025: \u20ac167 million), corresponding to an adjusted EBIT margin of 1.2 percent (Q2 2025: 3.5 percent). Excluding the accounting effects of the BMW settlement, adjusted consolidated sales in the second quarter of 2026 would have amounted to \u20ac4.3 billion, adjusted EBIT to \u20ac152 million, and the adjusted EBIT margin to 3.5 percent. The adjusted EBIT margin would therefore have reached the prior-year level. Adjusted free cash flow in the second quarter of 2026 amounted to \u20ac-174 million (Q2 2025: \u20ac-144 million). Normalized free cash flow stood at \u20ac-34 million (Q2 2025: \u20ac-25 million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the Autonomous and Commercial Mobility<\/strong> business area, adjusted sales came in at \u20ac1.4 billion (H1 2025: \u20ac1.6 billion). The decline of approximately 12.7 percent was primarily driven by lower volumes in the U.S. market and adverse foreign exchange effects. Adjusted EBIT amounted to \u20ac-14 million (H1 2025: \u20ac-2 million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Architecture and Network Solutions<\/strong> business area recorded adjusted sales of \u20ac2.4 billion (H1 2025: \u20ac2.6 billion). The year-on-year decline of 6.1 percent was primarily driven by lower volumes in Europe and the U.S. market as well as by adverse foreign exchange effects. Adjusted EBIT improved by \u20ac40 million year-on-year to \u20ac142 million (H1 2025: \u20ac102 million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Safety and Motion<\/strong> business area generated adjusted sales of \u20ac3.4 billion (H1 2025: \u20ac3.7 billion). The year-on-year decline of 9.6 percent was mainly attributable to lower production volumes and foreign exchange effects. Adjusted EBIT was at \u20ac29 million, \u20ac127 million below the prior-year result (H1 2025: \u20ac156 million), mainly due to special effects related to the BMW settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The User Experience<\/strong> business area achieved adjusted sales of \u20ac1.4 billion in the first half of the year, compared to \u20ac1.5 billion in the prior-year period. Portfolio-related one-off effects, foreign exchange impacts, regional demand shifts, and sustained competitive pressure, particularly from Asia, were the drivers of the 6.3 percent sales decline.
