Through the Spark fund, the supplier of technology and services aims to significantly expand its involvement in the German startup scene. The goal is to foster technological advancement in the country and generate further growth momentum for Bosch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGermany\u2019s startup landscape is not only attractive from a technological standpoint, but it also holds great potential for our growth areas,\u201d says Christian Fischer, chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH. \u201cThrough financing, collaborations, and partnerships, we want to gain greater access to new business models and disruptive technologies that have the potential to transform entire markets. At the same time, our Spark fund also strengthens the German innovation ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Bosch\u2019s view, Germany as a business location now boasts a startup scene that has matured over the years, an innovation landscape with a broad spectrum of technologies, and exceptionally strong industrial and scientific roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Fischer, this innovation ecosystem provides favorable conditions for making more targeted investments in German startups, even in the current challenging environment. Bosch is now one of Europe\u2019s largest corporate investors and its funds have provided a total of more than 1 billion euros in venture capital to date.
