Registrations of used passenger cars entering Romania for the first time reached 27,216 units in October 2026, a decrease of 23.8% compared with the same month last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the January\u2013October 2026 period, first-time registrations of used passenger cars totalled 254,323 units, down 14.8% from 298,598 units in the corresponding period of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data point to a contraction in both the new and used passenger car registration markets in Romania during the first ten months of the year, with the used car segment recording a particularly sharp monthly decline in October.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New passenger car registrations in Romania decreased by 10.1% in the first ten months of 2026 compared with the same period last year, reaching 109,326 units, according to data released by the Romanian Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACAROM).
