I have never had problems working in a male-dominated environment. I started with software development and later I got to quality management because I wanted to become a manager,\u201d <strong>Simona Almajan, Sr. Manager, Product Engineering and Quality teams, NXP said during the \u201cWomen Professionals In The Automotive Industry\u201d conference.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>An opportunity arose and I took it. I entered the automotive business at Freescale Semiconductors. The business has grown, we have several hundred employees in Bucharest. I coordinate two teams, quality management and product engineering. I am motivated by the top technology and the fact that we work for the cars of the future. In my teams I have two women managers.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that automotive companies can make more communication efforts to attract women in this industry.
