Eldrive Romania reaches 700 electric vehicle charging points nationwide, introduces monthly subscription system

Eldrive Romania has reached 700 charging points for electric cars, compared to 600 in May of this year. The 100 new charging points cover geographical areas in Romania where Eldrive was not present before, but also diversify the charging possibilities in areas already covered.

Eldrive Romania has exceeded 25,000 users and launches two subscriptions, which allow charging at lower costs.

“We have better national coverage than ever and all our efforts are focused on installing new charging stations for electric cars throughout the country. We are rapidly approaching our goal of having 1,000 Eldrive charging points nationwide, by the end of 2025,” said Camelia Popescu, Eldrive Country Manager in Romania.

At the same time as reaching the number of 700 charging points in the country, Eldrive Romania is also launching a subscription system.

The first one is Eldrive Smart, costs 29 lei/month and allows charging at a cost of 1.9 lei/unit. The second one is Eldrive Pro, costs 55 lei/month and allows charging at a cost of 1.75 lei/unit. These prices are valid for the first 250 units charged, after which the rate returns to the standard value, i.e. 2.55 lei/unit. All values include VAT.

We have sized these subscriptions so that a minimum of 12,000 km, going up to 24,000 km, can be covered by a user, annually, at costs lower by about 20% compared to standard prices, without a subscription”, explained Camelia Popescu.
