Porsche Engineering and Porsche Digital are evaluating the possibility of business consolidation
Porsche is considering bringing two of its innovation-focused subsidiaries closer together. Porsche Engineering and Porsche Digital announced that they are currently evaluating a potential consolidation of their competencies to strengthen the company’s technological edge.
The move comes as digitalisation continues to reshape the automotive industry and the broader mobility sector. By combining forces, the two units aim to accelerate the development of integrated technology solutions and digital customer experiences—not just for Porsche itself, but also for external partners and industries beyond automotive.
Porsche Engineering brings extensive know-how in vehicle architecture, systems, and software development, while Porsche Digital contributes expertise in customer-facing digital products and services. These include marketing, sales, in-vehicle digital solutions, and personalised customer support.
The planned consolidation would merge these complementary strengths into a seamless end-to-end offering. According to Porsche, this step is designed to push forward innovation both in how cars are developed and in how customers interact with the brand.
