Ford appoints Christian Weingaertner as General Manager of Passenger Vehicles in Europe

Ford has appointed Christian Weingaertner to the newly created role of General Manager, Passenger Vehicles, Ford Europe, effective February 1.

In his new role, Weingaertner will oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of Ford’s passenger vehicle business in Europe, including the introduction of a new generation of electrified vehicles. He will also lead the strategy team and a newly created partnership team for Ford in Europe.

He most recently served as Vice President, Business Transformation, in Europe, where he was a key architect of the European future strategy and key partnership projects.
