OMNIASIG and Ford Romania launch FORD CASCO insurance

OMNIASIG Vienna Insurance Group, in partnership with Ford Romania, has announced the launch of FORD CASCO, a tailored insurance offer for individuals and businesses buying new Ford vehicles (excluding leases).

Additionally, from April to June 2026, Ford Romania is running a special campaign: Private individuals purchasing new electric Ford cars from authorized dealers in Romania receive a FREE 1-year CASCO insurance.

This initiative highlights both companies’ commitment to boosting driver protection and safety in Romania, where optional CASCO coverage remains low at around 10% of the vehicle fleet. Owners without it face significant risks. The effort also supports sustainability goals by promoting electric vehicles, reducing carbon emissions amid current geopolitical and economic challenges.

Customers can access FORD CASCO at Ford dealers nationwide or through OMNIASIG’s sales network (employees, agents, brokers).
