PPC Blue Romania will install fast charging stations for electric vehicles at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport
PPC Blue Romania, part of the PPC group of companies in Romania, has won the auction organised by the Bucharest Airports National Company to install 7 hyper-fast charging stations for electric vehicles at Henri Coanda International Airport Bucharest. The agreement provides for the commissioning of the stations, with a power of 200 kW each, by June 29 of this year.
The stations will have two charging points each and will be located in the parking lot near the Departures Terminal, offering electric vehicle users a quick and convenient charging solution. The contract, awarded following the auction held through the Romanian Commodity Exchange on March 18th, 2026, has a duration of five years.

For us, it is a natural step in expanding the national network and an opportunity to offer electric car users modern, fast and easy-to-access services. We believe that such projects make a difference in the widespread adoption of sustainable transport”, said Andreea-Dana Popescu, General Director of PPC Blue Romania.
Thus, PPC blue will install a modern infrastructure in the North parking lot of Henri Coandă International Airport, consisting of 7 hyper fast charging stations of 200 kW each, which will serve a total of 14 recharging points. The total installed power will be 1.4 MW, with an absorbed power of 1.2 MW, thus ensuring reduced charging times and a high capacity to serve users.
In Romania, PPC blue operates over 1100 charging points in all counties of the country, with a total installed power of over 36 MW, doubling not only the number of points, but also the number of fast and hyper fast charging stations. PPC blue offers integrated electric mobility solutions to residential customers, companies and public institutions across the country.
