ACAROM elects new leadership for 2026–2029 mandate, appoints Mihai Bordeanu as President
ACAROM, the representative association of Romania’s automotive industry, has elected its leadership for the 2026–2029 term following an online voting procedure.
The newly appointed Board of Directors includes:
- Mihai Bordeanu – General Manager, Dacia
- Firat Elhüseyni – President and General Manager, Ford Otosan Romania
- Silviu Badea – General Manager, Grup GIC
- Alexandru Blemovici – Senior Vice President, Schaeffler Romania & SEE
- Alexandru Plocon – Administrative and Financial Director, Continental Timisoara
- Monica Constantinescu – Senior Vice President, Bosch Romania
- Cristian Nevzoreanu – Director of Public Affairs & Communication, Dacia & RTR
- Petrescu Cicerone Tudor – Vice-Rector, Politehnica University of Bucharest
- Alin Ioanes – General Manager, Rombat
- Andreea Maria Radu – Director of Government Affairs, Ford Otosan Romania
- Adrian Sandu – Secretary General, ACAROM
The Board has reappointed Mihai Bordeanu as President of ACAROM, continuing his previous mandate. He will be supported by Vice Presidents Firat Elhuseyni Elhüseyni and Silviu Badea.
Key objectives for the new mandate include strengthening dialogue and support for association members, enhancing ACAROM’s role as the voice of Romania’s automotive sector, improving responsiveness to European and national developments, and expanding partnerships with business organizations and industry associations.

Only through closer collaboration, through active and continuous dialogue with national authorities, decision-makers, similar organizations, and other business stakeholders, can we overcome difficult moments and seize emerging opportunities,” said Mihai Bordeanu, President of ACAROM.
