Eldrive Romania signs deal with MOON Power to install 300 new EV charging stations in 2024

Eldrive Romania and MOON Power, part of Porsche Romania, strengthen their partnership started in 2023. In 2024, Eldrive Romania will order 300 charging stations for electric cars, worth over 5 million Euros, from MOON Power. These stations will be installed throughout Romania, with the aim of increasing the quality and density of the Eldrive local charging network.

“Eldrive Romania’s EV charging services will cover the entire territory of the country in 2024, and the quality of the stations and their reliability are key elements for users,” said Camelia Popescu, Country Manager of Eldrive in Romania.

The stations marketed under the MOON Power brand are produced by Alpitronic (Italy) and are brought to the country by the largest local car importer: Porsche Romania, the importer of the brands Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Cupra, Skoda, Das WeltAuto.

Not only do we already have more than 180 charging points installed at all our car dealers, but together with strong companies that offer charging services in Romania, such as Eldrive, these stations will be everywhere where our customers need them: in shopping centers, gas stations, office buildings and residential areas”, said Brent Valmar, General Manager of Porsche Romania.
