New car registrations in Romania reached 16,362 units in July, up 25.3 percent compared to the same period in 2024, according to data published by the Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACAROM).
The volume of used cars registered for the first time in Romania was 36,234 units in July 2025, up 16 percent compared to July 2024.
In the first 7 months of the year, the volume of new car registrations reached 80,718 units, down 16.4 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
During the January-July period, the total number of used car registrations was 200,217 units (+9.5 percent).
