Romanian car production down 2.7 percent in the first 10 months

Car production at the factories in Mioveni and Craiova reached a total of 453,955 units, down by 2.7 percent compared to the same period last year, according to data from ACAROM (the Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Romania).

In October 2025, a total of 54,756 cars were produced in Romania, marking a decrease of 6.65 percent compared to October 2024.

Of the total production in October 2025, the Dacia plant in Mioveni manufactured 31,244 units, while the Ford Otosan plant in Craiova produced 23,512 units.

Over the first ten months of 2025, automobile production reached 453,955 units (245,765 Dacia vehicles and 208,190 Ford Otosan vehicles).
