PPC blue Romania takes over the Hermes Flow network with 116 charging points for electric vehicles
PPC blue, the electric mobility division of the PPC group in Romania, continues to expand its national network by acquiring the Hermes Flow network with 116 charging points. Once the new stations are fully integrated, users will have access to a wider network of fast and ultra-fast stations, gradually available in the PPC blue app in the following period.
“Electric mobility evolves when drivers can travel freely, with confidence in the network that supports them. Expanding our footprint through the acquisition of the Hermes Flow network brings us closer to the goal of providing a predictable charging experience nationwide. We appreciate the dedication and effort made by the Hermes Flow team in the development of this network, their contribution is an important part of the energy transition we are building together.” said Andreea-Dana Popescu, General Manager of PPC Blue Romania.
The newly acquired network consists of 72 charging points in Bucharest-Ilfov and the rest in 10 counties in Romania. The new stations are located in easily accessible areas, for example in 6 Carrefour stores, 15 Romstal units as well as several malls in Bucharest and in the country. Of the 116 charging points taken over, 97 charging points range between 50 kW and 160 kW.
The integration of the network of charging points taken over from Hermes Flow in the PPC blue network and in the mobile application will be carried out in the following period. During the takeover process, the stations will be unavailable for a short period of approximately 2–3 hours on the day they are transferred. Until the integration will be finalized, the stations will remain visible in the Hermes network, and later they can be found in the app and on the PPC blue map.
