Dacia produces 100,000th Bigster at the Mioveni plant
One year after the start of series production, Dacia’s Mioveni plant has rolled out the 100,000th Bigster. The milestone vehicle is a Hybrid 155 version and is destined for a customer in Romania.
More than 95% of total Bigster production is allocated to export markets, with the largest volumes delivered to Western Europe.
In Romania, following the start of deliveries in April last year, the Bigster quickly established itself as the leader of its segment. In less than nine months on the market, the model recorded sales of nearly 3,500 units by the end of 2025. Customer demand was strongly focused on the top trim levels, Journey and Extreme, which together accounted for around 90% of total sales. In terms of powertrains, two-thirds of buyers opted for the Hybrid 155 engine.
Among export markets, the highest sales volumes by the end of 2025 were recorded in France (16,300 units), followed by Germany (13,700 units), Spain (4,500 units) and Italy (4,000 units).
