PPC blue to install more than 100 charging points in Selgros stores in Romania
PPC Blue Romania, part of the PPC group in Romania, collaborates with retailer Selgros for the installation of a network of 100 charging points for electric vehicles in stores from 7 cities.
PPC Blue Romania and Selgros Romania have signed a partnership for the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles in several Selgros stores in Bucharest and in the country. The first charging stations were installed in 2025 in the Selgros store in Sibiu. There, customers can find 4 PPC blue electric car charging stations, totalling 8 charging points – one 200 kW station, one 150 kW station and two AC stations with a power of 22kW.
This year, 12 charging points were installed in the Selgros store in Craiova, in a configuration that reaches a total installed power of 700 kW – one station of 300 kW, one station of 200 kW, one of 100 kW and 3 stations of 44 kW. In Constanța County, stations were installed in the Selgros stores in Agigea and Constanta, with 12 charging points each.
Also, starting with June, Selgros customers in Blejoi, Prahova, will be able to charge their electric car at one of the 8 charging points.
By the end of the year, 24 charging stations (48 charging points) will be installed in 4 other Selgros stores in Bucharest and Ilfov County, totalling approximately 700 kW installed in each location.
“Electric mobility is becoming a reality through strategic partnerships, smart investments and increased accessibility. The collaboration with Selgros is an example of how we can integrate charging infrastructure into people’s daily lives. We aim to bring our solutions closer to communities, where they are useful – in the parking lots of your favourite stores. By constantly expanding the network of charging stations, we are actively contributing to the transition to cleaner, more efficient and more sustainable transport. Together with our partners, we are building a national electric mobility network, connected to the needs of users, maximizing the flexibility offered by electric cars to integrate power into the daily routine, without extra trips.” said Andreea-Dana Popescu, General Director of PPC Blue Romania.
